Partnering with her husband Troy to operate an
award winning Design/Build firm in Kansas City,
Candi designed many of the award winning projects
that the company completed. She worked as a
Project Coordinator and Marketing Manager for
a local design build firm prior to opening
New Leaf Construction.
Her corporate experience gives her the business
and commercial experience acquired in her 14
years as a business consultant and Development
Operations Consultant with McDonalds Corporation.
Candi’s interest in remodeling keeps her active in
the industry and she enjoys keeping up to date on
the many facets of the business and materials.
Having served on the Board of Directors and as
President of the Kansas City NARI chapter
allowed her to participate in local and national
forums within the remodeling industry.
As a Certified Remodeler, she is knowledgeable
about construction and the details that it takes
to build a project. She has had articles published
in trade magazines and was a regular on the
panel to “Ask the Expert” for the Kansas City
Star. Locally she is involved in the Bonita Springs
Chamber of Commerce and various other
organizations. “Our entry into the remodeling
market in Southwest Florida is a natural fit for us.
We look forward to helping our clients with all their
remodeling and renovation needs”, says Candi.
Starting in the business helping his Dad and
then working for his Uncle in Colorado gave Troy
the ground work to master the many facets of
Construction. With over 25 years in the industry
Troy brings extensive residential and commercial
experience. He holds a Certified Builder License in
the State of Florida and is proud of his knowledge
and commitment to the industry.
Throughout his career Troy has held positions
as Project Superintendent and Lead Superintendent
with commercial and residential companies
.
As Co-Owner of an award winning Design/Build
remodeling firm, Troy is the expert in making
sure that what is designed is what is built.

As a Certified Remodeler, Troy is active in the
industry; and has also been a facilitator for the
Certified Remodeler and Certified Lead Carpenter
study courses. He enjoys helping others and
mentoring young people in the industry. “Building
professionalism in the industry is good for our
clients and good for the industry.”
